Sunday School

At our Sunday School we aim to present the Bible message and the way of life that Jesus taught to children and young people, giving them positive values, a sense of purpose in life, and respect for other people, our world, and for God — and to have some fun while learning these lessons too!

At Sheffield, we are blessed with a lively Sunday School of around 20 children in the age range from 4 to 16 years. The Sunday School meets most Sunday mornings and also has a regular Summer Outing, usually to a country park or a stately home somewhere not too far from Sheffield. Other activities include a Sunday School Evening, during which the scholars present a short play and other items on Bible subjects for the entertainment of their mums and dads and the older members of the ecclesia.

Why not ask your children if they are interested? Come along and meet us each Sunday 9.30 – 10.30 am.

Youth Circle

Every Friday, 7.00pm to 9.30pm,
Sheffield Christadelphian Hall, Cemetery Road, Sheffield.

Sheffield Christadelphian Ecclesia has an active Youth Circle where a Bible Study and an activity is undertaken every Friday evening for all ages. Two C.Y.C.s exist, for juniors, ages 6 to 11, and seniors whose age varies from 12 to 20(ish).

The Senior Sheffield Christadelphian Youth Circle

There is a wide range of people who attend senior CYC, and this has a weekly attendance of approximately 20 young people. The Youth Circle is led by young Christadelphians who live in the area whose ages vary from 18 to 30(ish). The format of the evening is generally a Bible study where we consider an aspect of the Bible and then discuss the subject, normally with some relevance to how it affects our lives. We then have an activity. This varies from unihock and basketball to hat making (and the following week – a mad hatters tea party (Well, what else could you have after hat making?!!))

Many other Christadelphian Youth Circles exist around Great Britain, America, Australia, South Africa and Canada and many other countries.
